# Octo Browser

> Configure Octo Browser with 2extract proxies.

<Note>
  **Before you start:** Make sure you have your proxy credentials ready. You can find them in your proxy's settings page in the [2extract.com Dashboard](https://2extract.com/app/proxies). You will need:

  * **Host:** `proxy.2extract.net`
  * **Port:** `5555`
  * **Username:** (e.g., `2xt-customer-...`)
  * **Password:** (Your proxy's password)

1. **Create a New Profile:** In the Octo Browser dashboard, click **+ Create Profile**.
2. **Set Connection Type:** In the "Connection" section, select "Proxy".
3. **Choose Protocol:** Select **HTTP** as the protocol.
4. **Enter Proxy String:** Paste your proxy credentials in the `host:port:login:password` format, like this:
   `proxy.2extract.net:5555:PROXY_USERNAME:PROXY_PASSWORD`
5. **Check and Save:** Click **Check proxy** to validate, then **Create Profile** to save.
