# Whologin

> Use Whologin with 2extract proxies.

<Note>
  **Before you start:** Make sure you have your proxy credentials ready. You can find them in your proxy's settings page in the [2extract.com Dashboard](https://2extract.com/app/proxies). You will need:

  * **Host:** `proxy.2extract.net`
  * **Port:** `5555`
  * **Username:** (e.g., `2xt-customer-...`)
  * **Password:** (Your proxy's password)
</Note>

The process for setting up a proxy in virtually all anti-detect browsers is highly standardized. Please follow these general steps, as the specific field names may vary slightly.

1. **Find Proxy Settings:** When creating or editing a new browser profile, locate the section or tab named **"Proxy"**, "Connection", or "Network".
2. **Select Protocol:** Choose **HTTP** or **HTTPS** as the proxy type/protocol.
3. **Enter Your Credentials:** You will see fields for the following information. Fill them out with your 2extract.com details:
   * **Host/IP:** `proxy.2extract.net`
   * **Port:** `5555`
   * **Login/Username:** Your proxy `Username`
   * **Password:** Your proxy `Password`
4. **Check the Connection:** Almost all browsers have a **Check Proxy** or **Test Connection** button. Use it to ensure your settings are correct. You should see a success message with the IP address of your proxy.
5. **Save the Profile:** Save the settings to apply them to your new or existing browser profile.

<Warning>
  If a specific browser does not offer its own internal proxy settings, it will rely on your system's proxy configuration. In this case, we recommend using a system-wide tool like **[Proxifier](/integrations/tools/proxifier)** to route the browser's traffic through our network.
