# Proxifier (Proxy Manager)

> Route traffic from any application on your Windows or macOS system through 2extract.com using Proxifier.

Proxifier is a powerful application that allows you to redirect the network connections of any application through a proxy server. This is extremely useful for applications that do not have their own internal proxy settings.

### Step 1: Open Proxy Server Settings

First, launch Proxifier.

* On **Windows**, go to `Profile -> Proxy Servers...`
* On **macOS**, go to `Proxies` in the main configuration window.

Click the **Add...** button.

</Frame>

### Step 2: Enter Server Address and Port

In the new window, enter your proxy's host and port:

1. **Address:** `proxy.2extract.net`
2. **Port:** Enter your proxy's specific port number (e.g., `5555`).
3. **Protocol:** Select **HTTPS** from the protocol list.

</Frame>

### Step 3: Enable Authentication

Now, enable authentication and enter your credentials:

1. Check the **Enable** box in the "Authentication" section.
2. **Username:** Enter your proxy's `Username`.
3. **Password:** Enter your proxy's `Password`.
4. Click **OK**.

</Frame>

  **Using Geo-Targeting:** You can add parameters like `-country-de` directly to your username in this field to control your location.

### Step 4: Confirm and Create a Proxification Rule

Proxifier will ask if you want to use this proxy for all traffic by default. It's better to create a specific rule.

1. Click **No** in the confirmation dialog. This will open the "Proxification Rules" editor.
2. Click **Add...** to create a new rule.
3. **Name:** Give your rule a name (e.g., `Chrome via 2extract`).
4. **Applications:** Click "Browse..." and select the application you want to route through the proxy (e.g., `chrome.exe`).
5. **Action:** In the "Action" dropdown, select your newly created proxy (e.g., `Proxy HTTPS proxy.2extract.net`).
6. Click **OK** to save the rule.

</Frame>

### Step 5: Verify the Connection

Your setup is complete. Now, when you use the application you selected (e.g., Chrome), all its traffic will be routed through your 2extract.com proxy.

You can verify this by:

* **Watching the Proxifier main window:** You will see live connection logs for your application.
* **Visiting an IP checker website** (like [IPinfo.io](https://ipinfo.io/what-is-my-ip)) within the proxified application. You should see the IP of your proxy, not your own.
