# Mobile Proxies: Specifics & Limitations

Mobile proxies are our premium offering. Understanding their unique nature is key to maximizing their effectiveness.

### IP Pool Characteristics

* **Source:** Our Mobile pool consists of IP addresses from real mobile devices on 3G/4G/5G networks. These are the highest-quality, most trusted IPs available.
* **IP Rotation:** Mobile IPs are naturally more dynamic than residential ones. An IP can change as a device moves between cell towers. Our system leverages this natural rotation.

### Unique Targeting Capabilities

The primary advantage of Mobile proxies is the ability to target by:

* **ISP (`-isp-{code}`):** Target specific mobile network operators by their numeric ISP code (e.g. `-isp-310260` for T-Mobile US). ISP targeting is mutually exclusive with geo parameters - selecting ISP mode disables country, state, city, and ZIP targeting.

### Session Stability

* **Sticky Sessions:** While sticky sessions are fully supported, their stability is **inherently lower** than with Residential proxies due to the nature of cellular networks. A session may be interrupted if the device loses signal or switches networks.
* **Best Practice:** For mobile proxies, it is **critically important** to build robust retry logic into your application to handle potential session interruptions gracefully.

* **Mobile-First Platforms:** Scraping data from mobile apps or verifying content on mobile versions of websites.
