Before you start: Make sure you have your proxy credentials ready. You can find them in your proxy’s settings page in the 2extract.com Dashboard. You will need:
  • Host: proxy.2extract.net
  • Port: 5555
  • Username: (e.g., 2ext-customer-...)
  • Password: (Your proxy’s password)
The process for setting up a proxy in virtually all anti-detect browsers is highly standardized. Please follow these general steps, as the specific field names may vary slightly.
  1. Find Proxy Settings: When creating or editing a new browser profile, locate the section or tab named “Proxy”, “Connection”, or “Network”.
  2. Select Protocol: Choose HTTP or HTTPS as the proxy type/protocol.
  3. Enter Your Credentials: You will see fields for the following information. Fill them out with your 2extract.com details:
    • Host/IP: proxy.2extract.net
    • Port: 5555
    • Login/Username: Your proxy Username
    • Password: Your proxy Password
  4. Check the Connection: Almost all browsers have a Check Proxy or Test Connection button. Use it to ensure your settings are correct. You should see a success message with the IP address of your proxy.
  5. Save the Profile: Save the settings to apply them to your new or existing browser profile.
If a specific browser does not offer its own internal proxy settings, it will rely on your system’s proxy configuration. In this case, we recommend using a system-wide tool like Proxifier to route the browser’s traffic through our network.
